Thomas Anton Yessis

Thomas Anton Yessis has been capturing the landscapes of Hawaii’s Big Island since 1993. From the sun kissed Kona-Kohala Coast to the breathtaking valleys and waterfalls of Hamakua to the lush tropical rain forests of Hilo, Tom captures the drama, beauty and vivid colors and light of Hawaii’s most diverse island. He paints en plain air, and his passion for the ocean and the outdoors is reflected in each piece. Tom has been painting since his childhood and earned a BFA in Illustration at California State Long Beach University. He lives with his wife, Amie and his daughters Hailey and Emily in Kailua-Kona.
